Capital & Centric are a business that dream up exciting ways to turn unloved land and buildings into brilliant new places. They approached me during a phase of regenerating Piccadilly East, a quiet and unloved part of Manchester. They wanted a pair of murals right outside their building ‘Crusader’ to brighten the area with a loosely related Manchester theme. Together we chose the phrase ‘This Is The One’ - a title of a Stone Roses song - and an impactful message of ‘PEACE’.
